End-of-semester grade stress usually comes down to one question: what do I need to score on this final to get the grade I want? The Required Grade Calculator answers that precisely, considering the exact weights of every completed and pending component.
The formula works in reverse from the target: it calculates what's still "available" in your course grade, then divides the shortfall by the weight of the pending work. If the result exceeds 100%, the target is mathematically out of reach — the calculator shows this clearly and suggests the highest achievable grade instead.
Best Case and Worst Case brackets are shown alongside the required score: Best Case assumes 100% on all remaining work, Worst Case assumes 0%. The gap between them tells you how much your grade can still realistically move.
